Struggling
Still struggling to complete all the reporting packages and have them reviewed. We need to delivery three opinion to every banking client: audit report, opinion on internal control/compliance and MLP, and AUP on tax reconciliation. The deadline is 4/30, but the top is still discussing if we are going to issue an opinion or just attach the tax reconciliation. The clients push us so badly... ...

Manager's Responsibility
In Toronto, basically three people need to review the audited financial statements; the manager, the partner and QA.
In Shanghai, my engagements need to have at least five people to review: I, as the manager, the partner, the QA, the signing CPAs - s/b one manager and one partner. This is because both the engagement partner and myself are not Chinese CPAs.
Today, the signing CPA partner said she has no time to review and ask me to tell the engagement partner to find another CPA partner to sign the report. I ask help to the engagement partner, and he told me, you are the manager, you should manage to deliver your reports on time ... ...
Can I sign the report myself?
